Our company offers accommodation in Kassari Holiday Resort Hotel, Liilia and Lõoke hotels, Vetsi Talli Holiday Village and Kassariotsa Holiday House. If we add up all the offered places to stay, we can accommodate up to 250 people.
The very best catering can be found in the Resto Lest & Lammas on the Kassari islet. On the same islet, we can also find the Vetsi Talli Tavern, which is the heart of the holiday village of the same name. The higher the sun rises and the warmer the weather, the more people come to visit Hiiumaa. As a result, our summer team will triple in size. During the summer months it’s wonderful to see that, in addition to the people of Hiiumaa, our work family includes people from neighbouring islands and the mainland as well, because everybody loves to come and have a good time. And if you’re getting paid for it as well, that’s even better!
If you don’t have a place to stay in Hiiumaa, we have several accommodation options for those coming from further afield.
Oh, one more thing – if you come to work for us, you will need to have a health certificate. In addition, unless you are a work maniac and want to do all the work in the world like a real Estonian, you should know that we work in shifts that will allow you to have plenty of free time to enjoy the Hiiumaa summer or swing back to the mainland from time to time.
For 2024 summer we are looking for people to fill the following positions:
CHEF & SHIFT MANAGER: The tasks are preparing dishes and managing your team. It is not important to us for you to have a chef’s diploma or a letter of recommendation from a Michelin-starred restaurant. If you have previous experience in the field, a well-developed palate, an appreciation for cleanliness and a desire to make a difference in the catering industry, please contact us. We offer a salary of €13 per hour. The kitchen would be all yours from the 15th of May.
CHEF: The tasks are preparing and serving delicious food, keeping the kitchen clean and tidy and the day-to-day activities associated with chef work. You will benefit from previous experience in the field, an open mind and a cheerful disposition. The salary for this position is €11 per hour. Starting date would be the 15th of May.
ASSISTANT CHEF: The assigned task is assisting the chefs. If you have culinary interests and like to work in the kitchen but feel like you don’t have enough experience to really cook this summer, then this is the job for you. The salary for this position is €8 per hour. You are welcome to start in June.
BARTENDER/WAITER: The assigned tasks are serving and interacting with customers in our restaurants. As there are several positions available. You will have the choice between being behind the counter or serving the dining hall. You would benefit from having at least a little experience with the job beforehand. We also expect you to be able to communicate in both Estonian and English, as we have guests from all over the world.
Years of experience have also shown that the more you learn our Hiiu dialect, the bigger the tip. The salary for this position is €8 per hour and the job would start in June.
CHAMBERMAID: The assigned tasks are preparing and cleaning the rooms in our hotels. We provide on-site training since we have a highly experienced staff. Come and join our team if you like clean and stylish rooms. Let’s achieve our goals together! We offer €7 per hour. The job would start in June.
ASSISTANT SALES MANAGER: As the assigned tasks involve customer service, preparing offers, managing sales documents and internal day-to-day administration with your colleagues, we are looking for a conscientious person who speaks Estonian and English. It would be great if you also like to move about and communicate with others in order to get things done.
A driving licence is a must for this job, as there is quite a distance between our various hotels and resorts. If you come with your own car, we will cover the fuel costs. The salary is €1700 per month, and you can start working for us immediately.
We believe that if your hobby is your job, you won’t work a day in your life. It would be wonderful if you didn’t work only for money in Hiiumaa but also got to enjoy your passion for the catering and hospitality industry. And that is one of the reasons Hiiumaa is called paradise island.
